I made a double batch of this easy honey butter recipe for our Thanksgiving dinner and packaged a few jars to give as gifts. The bells might have been a little “extra” and not necessary. These small mason jars are the perfect size and I love adding a wooden-handled butter knife.

How to Make Honey Butter
The true secrets to this easy honey butter recipe are powdered sugar and salted butter! We like ours extra sweet, however, if you don’t like it so sweet, you can easily cut back on the powdered sugar.
Ingredients:
Salted Butter
Powdered Sugar
Local Honey
Cinnamon (optional)
Before mixing, make sure your butter is softened to room temperature. Butter that is hard as a rock won’t “whip” and butter that has been melted in the microwave will be too “soupy”! Butter that is room temperature will whip up nice and creamy.
In a large mixing bowl add butter, powdered sugar, and honey. Using a hand mixer, blend until smooth.
What to Serve with Honey Butter
My husband thinks you can eat it alone! haha – The grandkids love it on toast, pancakes, and muffins. I think it is delicious on banana and pumpkin bread.
If you want to be the HIT at the next family dinner, offer to bring the rolls and honey butter!
