I used Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls which makes 5 large cinnamon rolls, or trees in this case. You can buy their regular Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls which will give you 8 smaller trees.

I found it helpful to lay out a piece of parchment paper when I unrolled the rolls and made the tree shapes. Some of the cinnamon falls off, so making them on the parchment paper will help to collect the cinnamon droppings. After I made the tree shapes, I spread the loose cinnamon on top of each tree.

To make the tree, start by unrolling the cinnamon roll. I like to use the end of the roll as my tree top (it unrolls easier!) then create the tree shape by laying the strip of dough in a back and fourth “S” shape.

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and transfer the tree shapes to the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

I like to warm up the frosting in the microwave for about 20 seconds, this will make it easy to drizzle on the trees.

Serve warm and enjoy! I can’t wait to try more shapes for other special occasions.

What do you think? Do they look like a Christmas Tree or the Poop emoji?
